The fate of Tribune Almalexia

1 dubna, 2012

So you wish to know my name, mortal? My name is very precious to me for it is the only thing permanent about me. I posed as many things and appeared in many roles during my centuries of life, yet I never allowed myself to forget my own name. Almalexia.

Ancient Chimer witch-queen

Almalexia, elven goddess of love, fertility and passion

I can still recall my father calling me by name for feast every morn. Not that I can remember his name or his face. All my memories about Aldmeri Cradle are suspiciously chaotic and scarce. Often I wondered if someone played with my memory. Sometimes I suspect I myself cursed my mind to forget. I know Aldmeri was wonderful and beautiful. I know there was both pleasure and pain to be found. I think there were some enemies of mine, but all is clouded in doubt and dust.

What I remember clearly is how my people escaped from the Cradle of Mer and how we arrived on Summerset Isles. We were both devastated and excited, for the new worlds ahead of us were both dangerous and promising. Me and my sisters wanted to celebrate Sanguine through sensual pleasures and Azura through our love. But others abhorred our Daedra Gods. They called us heretics and abominations. So we escaped again.

Morrowind, the Home of the Dark Elves

Morrowind, the Home of the Dark Elves

We fled to Morrowind with our wise prophet Veloth and settled in that dangerous land. We called ourselves Chimer and laughed at the foolishness of our Altmer oppressors, for we have found beautiful keeps, palaces and ports. How we loved the sinister landscape of Morrowind with its Ashlands, bleak forests of mushrooms and mysterious swamps. Yet we overlooked the most precious treasure to be found in our new home. The Heart of Lorkhan.

The Heart was hidden beneath Red Mountain in the grasp of our fair-weather friends- the Dwemer. With it they abandoned the worship of Daedra Gods and created wonders beyond imagination of your primitive people, mortal. But we were blind to their heresy, power and plans. In happiness we forged our new realm of Morrowind. I fell in love with a male Chimer for the first time then. His name was Nerevar and he was great in all ways I could think of. Though I kept many girls as my lovers, I married him and allowed him to keep both his male and female pets, for his heart was utterly mine and our people have never felt threatened by our natural desires.

For the first time since leaving the Aldmeri Cradle of Mer was I worshipped for my beauty as I deserved. People praised me as their Queen and all Chimer adored me just as they feared my husband. But the age of prosperity was about to end when we learned about plans of our false allies. The Dwemer intended to use the Heart of Lorkhan for conquering Morrowind. Quickly we went to stop them and stop them we did.

Even I do not know what happened to the Dwemer. I was there and thus I can confirm that all of them disappeared as ghosts in a blink of an eye. Many thought them destroyed, but I suspected treachery. I told Nerevar to preserve their weapons and tools. Do not listen to the stories about poison candles, mortal. Nobody regretted death of Nerevar more than me. Ashlanders are right however when it comes to my treachery regarding the promise I made to Nerevar. It was I who seduced both Sotha Sil and Vivec and convince them to use the power of the Heart for the purpose of ascendency.

We became the Gods. We spat into the face of Azura herself as she tried to deny us our rightful place. We laughed even as she transformed our people into Dunmer, for we retained our golden skin through our godhood. As the Tribunal we ruled over Morrowind even as the foolish Dagoth Ur tried to oppose us. I have personally faced Mehrunes Dagon, the Lord of Destruction ,and defeated him. I was a goddess just as I deserved!

People praised me as their merciful matron. My House Indoril spread my kind words among Dunmer and my wrath among their enemies. I was divine!!! It is the fate of the great to be victim of lesser conspirators. Vivec was jealous of me and allied himself with Dagoth Ur, Sotha Sil, Azura and Nerevarine. Not even I could stand a chance against their combined strikes.

They destroyed the Heart of Lorkhan. My godhood was in peril. I knew I was losing ground. I was losing sanity. It is hard for a Goddess to lose her sight, youth and power. I had a plan, but it was risky and it failed. In the arms of my beloved treacherous Nerevarine I died right after I killed Sotha Sil in revenge.

But as you see, my dear mortal, I did not bet on a single card, oh no! For some time my bloodline prospered outside of Morrowind. Among the Altmer, Dunmer and Bosmer in Cyrodiil my blood flew and so I could be reborn one day just as Nerevar was reborn in the form of Nerevarine. Yet all my distant offspring seemed too fragile and common to make a right vessel for me. There was only one exception.

Long ago I accepted a visitor. He called himself the Snow Prince and claimed to be the last son of the father with the same title. He even claimed to be the last of his race, the legendary Snow Elves of Skyrim. In silence I listened to his stories about war between his lost people and the Nords, about their later enslavement in the hands of Dwemer. He was a noble battlemage and reminded me of my long dead Nerevar. I mated with him and in secret I had born him a daughter. Since then her line prospered on Summerset Isles.

When I died my spirit was reborn in the babe of this bloodline. My own blood in its veins allowed me to possess it just as the blood of the Snow Elves allowed me later to recall the long lost knowledge of Snow Mer of Skyrim. I grew up, scarcely remembering who I was. When I finally remembered I forsake my new false name and named myself Almalexia again. They considered me an Altmer, but I was much more. I was a hybrid of Chimer and Falmer with memories of ancient queen and goddess.

I went here in Skyrim in search for the long lost power of the Snow Elves. The Eye of Magnus is it called and I shall not rest till you tell me, where it is, my dear little mortal. The Heart of Lorkhan is no more, but the Eye shall make me greater than ever. As I walk the frozen lands of dragons I remember more and more. Soon I shall regain my godhood and this time there will be no Tribunal, only me. My ancient rivals among Psijics and Aldmeri Dominion themselves shall unknowingly deliver the Eye into my hands. I shall slaughter the Nords and banish Imperials just as I should have done back then in Morrowind. I shall raise forgotten Snow Elves as my people and regain my rightful place in the order of things!!!

Sylvanas Windrunner of the Forsaken

11 ledna, 2009

Sylvanas was born into prominent family of Windrunners. She was the strongest of the Farstriders, elven rangers wielding druidic magic. As such she became the Ranger-General of Silvermoon and together with her sister Aleera helped the Alliance during the Second Wars and thus saved Quel´Thalas itself from the orcs and forest trolls.

Later death knight Arthas led an undead invasion into her homeland in order to abuse the powers of the Sunwell for resurrection of slain necromancer Kel´Thuzad as well as to eliminate the High Elves.

Sylvanas first fought him at the bordelands of Quel´thalas, where Eastern Plaguelands are today. Arthas and his undead Scourge managed to penetrate her defenses through their vast numbers and necromancy. Eventually undead conquered inner Kingdom and changed it into corrupted Ghostlands.

After many battles Arthas cornered Sylvanas and her rangers with his undead lackeys and slaughtered them as well as most of the High Elven population. Such was his hate and respect for the slain Ranger-General that he resuerrected her as the Banshee Queen.

Bound by the will of the Lich King, Sylvanas was forced to lead the undead siege of Silvermoon herself. Arthas ,,rewarded“ her by returning her spirit to her dead body. Thus Sylvanas became the first of the Dark Rangers.

Kel´Thuzad was reborn as a powerful lich and Sunwell was corrupted and lost to the Highborne. Survivors renamed themseleves in order to honour their lost comrades and relatives. They shall be known as Sindorei, the Blood Elves. Vereesa Windrunner, younger sister of Sylvanas, would become leader of the few remaining High Elves.

Sylvanas became a general of the Scourge and right hand of Arthas himself. Later Lich King started to loose his power over strongest undead and Sylvanas immeadiately recognized her chance. Secretly she met with three dreadlords: Varimathras, Detheroc and Balnazar.

Later she almost killed Arthas, but he was saved by his loyal minion Kel´Thuzad and freed from her grasp. Arthas left for Northrend and Sylvanas meanwhile started civil war among remaining undead. She enslaved Varimathras and slew the remaining dreadlords.

From now she would be known as the Dark Lady of the Forsaken and so she joined the Horde in order to destroy the Scarlet Crusade as well as her arch nemesis: Arthas.

After gaining respect of Thrall himself and plotting with tauren hag Magatha, Sylvanas allowed the Blood Elves to join the Horde. With huge forces at her back Sylvanas travelled to Northrend, where she witnessed the final death of the Lich King Arthas from the hands of the noble children of Azeroth.
